What is Enterprise 2.0?

I’ll try to explain Enterprise 2.0

First of all, Enterprise 2.0 is a business concept, not a new technology. As Prof. Andrew McAfee at HBS writes:

“Enterprise 2.0 is the use of emergent social software platforms within companies, or between companies and their partners or customers.”

I say, it is the application of Web 2.0 concepts to business.

A great expaination of Web 2.0 can be found in Steve Borsch’s online report, “Rise of the Participation Culture”.

Currently, the Web 2.0 can only really been found on the internet (at the individual level). It is not yet prevalent on the intranet (inside the corporation).

I’m confident that this is going to change…and the change is starting RIGHT NOW.

Superb blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option?
There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!
